Our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR in collecting the data is based on the following purposes: Ensuring a smooth connection setup and convenient use of the website, evaluation of system security and stability as well as for other administrative purposes.

Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person.

We also use cookies and analysis services when you visit our website. You can find more detailed explanations on this in sections 4 and 5 of this privacy policy.

b. When using our contact form

For questions of any kind, we offer you the opportunity to contact us via a form provided on the website. At least the following information is required: e-mail and name so that we know who sent the request and can answer it. Further information can be provided voluntarily.
Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR on the basis of your voluntarily given consent.
The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be deleted after your request has been dealt with.

c. When concluding a contractual relationship and/or registering as a user

When concluding a purchase contract via our website or when registering as a customer, we ask you to provide the following personal data:

  • Data that identifies you personally, such as your name and e-mail address, billing and delivery address
  • the information on your means of payment,
  • other personal data that we are legally obliged or authorized to collect and process and that we need for your authentication, identification or to verify the data we have collected.

The aforementioned data will be processed to handle the contractual relationship and - if necessary - passed on to the transport company commissioned with the delivery. The data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR. The storage period is limited to the purpose of the contract and, if applicable, statutory and contractual retention obligations.

The personal data collected by us for the order will be blocked for further use after the contract has been fully processed. Your data will be stored until the expiry of the statutory warranty obligation and then deleted, unless we are obliged to store it for a longer period in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR due to tax and commercial law storage and documentation obligations (from HGB, StGB or AO) or you have consented to further storage in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.

We use the Woocommerce service as a plugin on our website to sell our products. This service is offered by Automattic Inc, 60, 29th Street #343, San Francisco, CA 94110-4929, USA.

Data that you enter on our website, such as your email address, your name and address and information about your means of payment, will be forwarded to Automattic Inc. The forwarding is based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR.

In addition, the IP address, browser, language setting and time of access are recorded. Furthermore, Woocommerce also sets cookies in order to be able to offer you interest-based advertising. The processing of this data is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR.

If your data is transferred to the USA, this is done on the basis of an adequacy decision in accordance with Art. 45 GDPR. We also use the Foovents service provided by Grenade Co (Pty) Ltd, Ground Floor, The Conservatory 13 Oakdale Road, Newlands Cape Town, 7700, South Africa. This is an extension of the Woocommerce service. The service is used for the sale of tickets to our events and for the organization of our events. Data that you enter to purchase tickets on our website, such as email address, your name and address and information about your means of payment, is forwarded to Grenade Co (Pty) Ltd. The forwarding is based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR. If your data is transferred to South Africa, this is done on the basis of the standard contractual clause. In this clause, Grenade Co (Pty) Ltd. has undertaken to us that a level of data protection equivalent to that of the EU will be guaranteed in third countries outside the EU to which data is exported.

d. Use of payment service providers

We also work together with payment service providers for the payment of contracts concluded with us for a fee. We pass on your payment data to the commissioned payment service provider as part of payment processing - earmarked for the payment - if this is necessary for payment processing. The legal basis for the transfer of data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

Stripe
For payment processing, we use the service of Stripe, Inc. 354 Oyster Point Blvd
South San Francisco, CA 94080, USA. When you make a purchase via the online store, various personal data is automatically transmitted to STRIPE. The data is transmitted for the purpose of processing the payment.

The recipient of the collected data is Stripe, Inc. If your data is transferred to the USA, this is done on the basis of an adequacy decision in accordance with Art 45 GDPR. e. When registering for our newsletter

If you have expressly consented in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR, we will use your e-mail address to send you our newsletter on a regular basis.

You can unsubscribe at any time, for example via a link at the end of a newsletter. Alternatively, you can also send your unsubscribe request at any time by e-mail (preferably with the subject: "Unsubscribe newsletter") to service@fragold-connect.de send.

f. When participating in a competition

The following declarations apply to all participants in competitions organized by Fragold Connect GmbH.

When you take part in a competition, we process the following personal data, among others:

  • First and last name
  • Address
  • E-mail address
  • Content data, insofar as these are the subject of the competition
  • As well as other data that you transmit to us in this context

Your personal data will be processed for the purposes of the competition (primarily to determine the winner and contact them).

Recipients of the personal data are internal recipients of the data controller in compliance with the "need-to-know" principle as well as external recipients to fulfill the profit claim, such as precious metal dealers.

The processing is based on the fulfillment of the contractual obligation based on the competition, so that Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR is the legal basis for the processing.

If you have given your revocable consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR, your data will be used to send you advertising emails.

2. rights of data subjects

Upon request, we will be happy to inform you whether and which personal data relating to you is stored (Art. 15 GDPR), in particular about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data if it was not collected by us, and the existence of automated decision-making including profiling.

3. duration of data storage

The data collected will be stored by us for as long as is necessary for the performance of the contracts entered into with us or as long as you have not exercised your right to erasure or your right to data portability to another company.

a. Tracking tools

The data collected with Matomo is stored on our own servers. It is not passed on to third parties.

The legal basis on which we process personal data using Matomo is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

Purpose of data processing

We need the data to analyze the surfing behavior of users and to obtain information about the use of the individual components of the website. This enables us to constantly optimize the website and its user-friendliness. By anonymizing the IP address, we take into account the user's interest in the protection of personal data. The data is never used to personally identify the user of the website and is not merged with other data.

The underlying advertising purpose is to be regarded as a legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR. Responsibility for data protection-compliant operation must be guaranteed by their respective providers.

  • Facebook
    Our website uses social plugins ("plugins") from the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook").
