The Precious Metals FutureForum

The image is actually right, the prices are at record levels...

...nevertheless, and precisely for this reason, we need to talk about precious metals.

For industry, gold, silver and the platinum metals are indispensable commodities, for investors gold in particular is one of the top investments of recent years and for central banks the yellow metal is a powerfully rediscovered component of their external currency reserves.

At the same time, the precious metals industry is putting a lot of energy into the search for new applications, safe and clean supply chains, recycling that is as seamless as possible and the avoidance of shady deals, e.g. at the expense of investors.

And then there are external factors that have an impact on the business with precious metal investors, which is important for the entire industry from miners to coin dealers: High interest rates, new investment alternatives such as cryptocurrencies or other metals, a sometimes critical collection and general economic uncertainty have recently led to a significant reluctance to buy among private and institutional investors in Germany and the surrounding countries.

So there are plenty of topics that stakeholders involved in precious metals can and should discuss. After all, the success story of the last 15 years will not automatically continue in the future.

It is therefore important that the various players in the precious metals industry network more closely in order to speak with one voice and send positive impulses to the outside world.

Building the future of precious metals: Be part of it!

The Precious Metals FutureForum, which will take place for the first time at the end of March 2025, offers a new, reputable platform that brings together all relevant players in the precious metals market - once a year in a face-to-face format and also with new information and communication formats.

The conference is not only intended to promote the exchange between the precious metals industry, banks, investors, official bodies and the media in German-speaking countries, but also to generally contribute to strengthening the acceptance and reputation of gold, silver and platinum metals in the public eye through an open exchange.

German as the conference language and the financial center Frankfurt as the venue.

In future, the Precious Metals FutureForum will always take place in Frankfurt in the spring and thus at a central location that is easy to reach from anywhere in the DACH region. The city on the Main is not only an ideal location because it is so central: it also has a long tradition in the precious metals trading that goes back at least as far as the Rothschilds. And as early as 1428, silver and later gold coins were minted in the Frankfurt mint, a tradition that continued into the 19th century.

Even today, Frankfurt and its surroundings are still an important location for national and international precious metals trading, precious metals processing and recycling and as an important storage and logistics hub for gold, silver and platinum metals.

The main conference language of the Precious Metals FutureForum is German (individual presentations may be in English), so that it is also attractive for participants who are not active on the international stage on a daily basis and who therefore prefer an event in their home language.

Networking with industry insiders.

The Precious Metals FutureForum, which will take place for the first time from March 23 to 25, 2025, will extend over two and a half days. The first day of the conference, the "Gold Day", will focus on topics relating to the yellow metal, while the second day, the "White Metal Day", will focus on silver and the platinum metals.

Extensive breaks will also provide ample opportunity for networking, as will the cocktail reception on the evening before the conference, the planned conference dinner on Monday and the offer of a joint tour of a visitor mine on the Sunday before the conference. The last three events mentioned will be limited in terms of the number of participants, so it is worth registering early for the conference.

Concept as a conference with exhibition/trade fair.

The Precious Metals FutureForum will be a combination of presentations, discussions and an exhibition from the outset. In 2025, up to 20 exhibition stands will also be available, which are particularly suitable for companies that want to draw the attention of the various participant groups to their products and services.
