...nevertheless, and precisely for this reason, we need to talk about precious metals.<\/strong><\/p>

For industry, gold, silver and the platinum metals are indispensable commodities, for investors gold in particular is one of the top investments of recent years and for central banks the yellow metal is a powerfully rediscovered component of their external currency reserves.<\/p>

At the same time, the precious metals industry is putting a lot of energy into the search for new applications, safe and clean supply chains, recycling that is as seamless as possible and the avoidance of shady deals, e.g. at the expense of investors.<\/p>

And then there are external factors that have an impact on the business with precious metal investors, which is important for the entire industry from miners to coin dealers: High interest rates, new investment alternatives such as cryptocurrencies or other metals, a sometimes critical collection and general economic uncertainty have recently led to a significant reluctance to buy among private and institutional investors in Germany and the surrounding countries.<\/p>

So there are plenty of topics that stakeholders involved in precious metals can and should discuss. After all, the success story of the last 15 years will not automatically continue in the future.<\/p>

The city on the Main is not only an ideal location because it is so central: it also has a long tradition in the precious metals trade that goes back at least as far as the Rothschilds. And as early as 1428, silver and later gold coins were minted in the Frankfurt mint, a tradition that continued into the German Empire.<\/p>

Even today, Frankfurt and its surroundings are still an important location for national and international precious metals trading, precious metals processing and recycling and as an important storage and logistics hub for gold, silver and platinum metals.<\/p>
